Forum Rules - Terms & Conditions of Use
General
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as accessing and taking part in the Forum constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Our Forum rules offer further guidance on behaviour consistent with these terms and conditions.
You must register to participate or contribute on SimplyHabbo.com.
You must be aged thirteen or older to register, participate, contribute to, or consume content on the Forum. We reserve the right to check periodically and remove users who are not compliant with this Term.
You (as the user) have sole access to your account––only one account––and hold full responsibility for any content posted, or any activity undertaken, on the Forum. This applies regardless of whether your account has been compromised or has been accessed by any other user.
For the purposes of these Terms, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to the management of the Forum.
Any personal information collected by us will be used reasonably for the purposes of good administration and will not be shared with any third party advertisers.
Content
All content, behaviour and submissions must comply with these terms. Specifically, you must not use the Forum to submit/distribute/share/consume content which:
breaks any relevant local, national or international law or which incites or encourages others to break any such law;
is racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory
is pornographic, obscene, or attempts to circumvent our profanity filter;
is defamatory of any person, entity or organisation;
is persistently abusive, threatening, repeatedly a cause of nuisance or annoyance or otherwise illegal towards other Forum users;
impersonates, or attempts to impersonate another person, whether or not that person is a user of this forum;
infringes the privacy of an individual or company;
is detrimental to, or has an unhealthy effect on, the perceived image of the Forum;
is otherwise offensive or inappropriate in our reasonable opinion.
The content on the Forum (and the views and opinions expressed therein) do not reflect the views and opinions of SimplyHabbo and/or its management.
All content must be written in English for a) ease of moderation; and b) convenience of other users.
Permission must be obtained from the relevant parties before submitting content which you do not have rights of distribution over.
Inappropriate content, or content you perceive to be inconsistent with these terms and conditions (and by proxy the Forum’s rules), may be submitted for review by the report function.
All content is reviewable by and accessible to administrators and moderators on the Forum. This includes, but is not limited to, content posted in forum threads, profiles, or private messages.
By submitting to or making available any content on the Forum you agree to grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, or deny access to your content so far as we may require.
Donations
You may choose to contribute towards the upkeep of the Site and Forum through financial donations. Any such donations are made as a unilateral, gratuitous gift without any expectation of reward, consideration, or alternative payment.
We use PayPal to process all donations, so your financial information remains secure and only available to PayPal.
Any donation may be refunded at our complete discretion
We make an effort to recognise users who have made a financial contribution, though this extends only so far as a gesture of good will and may be revoked or modified (along with any additional features) at any time for any reason.
Limitation and jurisdiction
While we do take reasonable steps to moderate the content on the Forum, we are not responsible for any content or the availability of said content. Any links on the Forum to third party websites do not imply any endorsement of the site by us. Any links and/or content are to be visited and/or consumed entirely at your own risk.
We reserve the right to terminate, transfer, limit or otherwise modify your access to the Forum at any time without notice and without reason.
Our terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. You––as do we––submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
If any of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
We reserve the right to review and revise our terms and conditions from time to time without giving any prior notice. By using the Forum after any revision of our terms and conditions, you agree to be bound by any changes we’ve made.

Posting Rules
Infractions
An infraction is given when a user breaks our rules. The infractions you receive are below:
Double Posting/Bumping Threads - 2 Points - Lasts 1 Month
Inappropriate Language - 2 Points - Lasts 1 Month
Signature Rule Violation - 2 Points - Lasts 1 Month
Excessive Use of Red - 2 Points - Lasts 1 Month
Spammed Advertisements - 3 Points - Lasts 1 Month
Insulted Other Member(s) - 5 Points - Lasts 1 Month
However, since we cannot name ALL problems which may be resolved via infractions, then moderators may issue you with a 'Custom' infraction. If this happens, it means that the moderator has felt you have done something which he/she does not agree with but it is not in the selection list.
If a user receives 6 Points OR 3 Infractions, they will receive an automatic ban lasting 7 days.
If a user Receives 5 or more Points, they will be placed into our 'Moderated User' Group, where they will not be able to post without authorisation by a moderator.
All infractions which are given will be recorded into a 'Management' Forum, where Administrators will review each case to see if it is allowed.
